Pre-Primary
The academic year is divided into two terms and each term has two assessment reports. There shall be no formal examinations for classes Nursery and K.G. Each assessment report is based on the continuous evaluation covering their fine motor skills, gross motor skills, cognitive skills and linguistic learning based on class activities, worksheets and assignments on day to day basis.
Primary Classes (I to III)
The academic year is divided into two terms and each term has two assessment reports. There shall be no formal examination for classes I, II and III. The students will be assessed on the basis of their day to day performance and regular classroom observations. The assessments would comprise of Periodic Tests/Class Tests, worksheets, assignments, recitation, reading, group discussions, dictation, project works, quizzes, extempore, multiple-choice questions (MCQs), interactions, short answer questions (SAQs), field projects etc.
Middle-level Assessment (IV to VIII)
TWT believes in a holistic approach to learning, the evaluation process at the school extends beyond academics to comprise a student’s comprehensive development. Evaluations are continuous with the goal of revealing both strengths and areas for potential improvement.
The Wisdom Tree is following the Examination pattern as per the CBSE. Students are continuously evaluated for their performance on a regular basis. Assessment for students from Grades IV to VIII is based on a periodic test which is held weekly. Periodic tests are compulsory for all students. The syllabus for the Periodic tests is given to the students well in advance.
Students from Grades IV to VIII have a Half Yearly Examination in the month of September and a Final Examination in the month of March respectively. The syllabus for the Examinations is given to the students well in advance. The result for the Examinations is based on Periodic tests, Notebook Submission, Subject Enrichment Activities, Half Yearly Examination and Final Examination and Co-scholastic activities.
